Shyne empowers customers with flexibility and convenience while helping salon partners optimize their appointment schedules and customer engagement.

Our Story

Born from frustration, built with passion

Shyne.lk was born out of a personal frustration that many can relate to.

Its founder, Shailly Jeganathan, experienced firsthand how inconvenient and time-consuming it could be to book a simple salon appointment. After making countless phone calls to different outlets – only to be told that the available slots didn't match her schedule – Shailly realised that something had to change.

In a world where everything from food delivery to medical consultations could be managed with just a few taps on a smartphone, why was the beauty and wellness industry still lagging behind?

That's when inspiration struck. Drawing parallels to platforms like eChannelling, which revolutionised healthcare appointment booking in Sri Lanka, Shailly envisioned a similar transformation for salon and wellness services. She imagined a platform where users could instantly view available time slots, compare locations, and book appointments 24x7 without having to make a single call.

With that vision, Shyne.lk was born in 2025.

Shyne is more than just a booking platform – it's a solution designed to eliminate the frustration that so many customers face when trying to schedule personal care services. Whether it's a last-minute manicure, a monthly haircut, or a relaxing spa session, Shyne puts the power of choice and convenience back into the hands of the customer.

At the same time, Shyne helps beauty and wellness businesses thrive in the digital age. By streamlining appointment management, improving visibility, and enhancing customer engagement, it supports service providers in delivering better experiences while optimizing their operations.

Shailly Jeganathan

Shailly Jeganathan

Founder & CEO

Shailly Jeganathan is a young and driven entrepreneur with a vision to transform Sri Lanka's beauty and wellness industry through smart technology and customer-first thinking.

A Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) graduate in Management from ANC Education, affiliated with the prestigious Northwood University, USA, Shailly combines academic strength with a sharp understanding of business and consumer needs.

Shailly brings over 3 years of experience in the sales & marketing field, working with customers across different industries and countries. This hands-on experience in relationship building, client engagement, and sales strategy plays a key role in the design and growth of the platform.

Championship Achievement:

During university, Shailly represented ANC Education at the renowned NUCARS Business Simulation hosted by Northwood University and led the team to victory—winning the championship among international teams.

Outside the business world, Shailly is an energetic and well-rounded individual who enjoys cycling, gymming, swimming, and traveling. These hobbies inspire balance and discipline, which are values reflected in Shailly's approach to building a business that serves both partners and customers with care and quality.

Ravi Raveendran

Ravi Raveendran

Chairman & Director

Ravi Raveendran brings over 35 years of leadership experience across healthcare, hospitality, technology, and real estate industries. He is the former CEO & Director of eChannelling PLC and Director of Expolanka Holdings PLC, where he played a pivotal role in advancing digital healthcare services and driving business growth in Sri Lanka.

Currently, Ravi serves as the Chairman of The Edge Group (Pvt) Ltd, a 20 year old outsourcing company providing comprehensive business support solutions to global markets. He is also the Founder/owner of Edge Properties, overseeing hotel and revenue management, both globally and internationally.

Current Roles:

Chief Marketing Officer at WowPay.io, a Singapore based payment orchestration platform serving large clients from airlines to hotels.

Known for his strategic vision and operational expertise, Ravi focuses on driving innovation, sustainable business practices, and long-term growth. His extensive background in management and business development provides invaluable guidance for the company's continued success.

He holds an Honours Bachelor's degree from the University of Leicester and MBA from Henley Business School, both in the UK.

Ravi Raveendran

Ludmal de Silva

Chief Technology Officer

Ludmal de Silva is a distinguished technology leader with over 25 years of experience in delivering innovative, enterprise-grade software solutions. As Chief Technology Officer at Shyne, he is responsible for overseeing the company's technology vision, leading product architecture, and driving the development of scalable, AI-enabled platforms that support long-term business growth.

In parallel, Ludmal serves as a Technical Advisor at Infonex, where he consults on high-impact technology strategies, digital transformation initiatives, and enterprise software design.

Technical Expertise:

His current work focuses on integrating generative AI, including the deployment of AI-powered voice automation systems across enterprise environments. His areas of expertise include cloud computing, full-stack development, intelligent automation, and large-scale digital ecosystems.

Earlier in his career, he was in charge of the SriLankan Airlines website, where he directed a major overhaul of the airline's digital infrastructure – improving operational efficiency, customer experience, and multi-platform service delivery.

A recognised thought leader, Ludmal has authored numerous articles and a well-received book on RESTful software architecture and best practices. He holds a Master's degree in Information Technology from a leading UK university.
